Jurassic Park Raptor by Haxorus54 Jurassic Park Raptor by Haxorus54
While I was visiting the Peabody Museum in New Haven, Connecticut during the summer, they had a special exhibits celebrating the 100th anniversary of the museums existence. One of the exhibits happens to be honoring John Ostrom, the man discovered Deinonychus and kickstarted the dinosaur Renaissance. One of the exhibits happened to be an animatronic model of the raptor from Jurassic Park: The Lost World(1997). I personally wish that they used Deinonychus in the films and novels, and I would go on more and more about this, but I know for a fact that nobody likes a complainer on this website. So enjoy the photo.

They did use Deinonychus!

During that time, Crichton and Spielberg decided to go with Greg Paul and his taxon-lumping situation!
